Hello Friend! 🙂 So glad you chose my place! My name is Carl and I am your host. I have been doing Airbnb for a few years and I really like having people from all over the world come to my lake-side cabin to enjoy Luleå and Swedish Lapland. Your stay is important to me and I want you to have the best vacation possible. I am a “superhost” and I aim for top rating on all accounts. If there is any way I can help you – let me know. Ok. Let’s begin!

Finding your house
Best is using the Check-in-function provided by Airbnb. There you will find step-by-step-pictures on how to find the house from the road. But here is an overview to help you out!
Here is the view from the road. At the first row of mailboxes on Björsbyvägen, turn down on the driveway to the small red houses:
If you arrive by car, you can park right here:
The log cabin is right opposite to the parking:
Quick Info about the Cabin
I provide clean towels and sheets of course.
All houses have WiFi. You will find all this info in the house.
I provide bike rental at a guest-friendly price: 100 kr/day – week 500 kr
I also provide fishing rod rental at a guest-friendly price: 100 kr/day for a rod. Lures provided, pay for the ones you lose (30 kr each).
The house is also equipped with a BBQ. If you plan to use it just get some coal and lighter fluid at the store and you’re ready to grill! (And please just make sure the bbq looks nice after you have used it 🙂
Right behind the house is a spot to split fire wood. There is an axe there too. Let me know if you run out of fire wood and I’ll help you.
Sauna
The sauna is the small red house down by the water. It is a basic simple country side Swedish sauna, functional! Like Swedes do sauna in the country side. If you want to use it in winter that’s fine. I do not clear paths, so as long as you are ok with walking 20 m through the snow you are free to use it.
To turn it on twist the right hand knob on the lower side of the heater 90° right (from ”12 o’ clock to 3 o’ clock”) . This is the timer. Now it will run for 3 hours. Do NOT turn it past 3 h (90° right) as you will get a DELAYED START (this is a function used when you are going skiing in winter and want the sauna to be warm in time you get back).
It takes 45 minutes for the sauna to heat up, depending on how cold it is outside. Swim in the lake if you like. It’s shallow so don’t dive. In summer use water out of the lake for the sauna. In winter: when you turn on sauna – bring the bucket back to the house and bring it back with water when you are ready for sauna!
Closest Supermarket
Most guests pass by town on their way to the house by bus. I recommend doing grocery shopping at Coop which is right by the Bus Station. This way you don’t have to stop on your way home for groceries. Would you however have your own car, rent a bike from me, or just fancy the walk to the supermarket closer to the house, well here is the info!
