Where is it?

All the cabins are just 7 km from Luleå, in Swedish Lapland, 150 km south of the arctic circle (show on Google maps )

How do I get here?

Either you fly to Luleå Airport or take a night train from Stockholm. Of course can also drive here, from Stockholm it’s about 1000 km, parking by the house is fine.

Do I need to rent a car to get around?

No, getting around Luleå does not require a rental car. There is a bus stop right by the house and buses to town leave once every hour and take only 10-15 mins. However, there are cool spots to explore at about 150 km radius from Luleå, like Nothern Europe’s greatest water falls, Storforsen. But for this you can rent a car for a day or two and go about and explore.

What about bikes?

I provide bike rental at guest friendly prices. Just ask and I will set you up!

What is there to do?

Soo many things! Right around the cabins you have wonderful forest for hikes and you can rent fatbikes from me. In winter you can rent cross country skis, snow shoes and skates and explore the area, dog-sledding, snow mobiles etc. It’s wonderful! In summer fish from the garden and catch a pike or a perch. In town there is a good selection of restaurants and pubs. It’s the perfect combination of chilled out nature and the anemities of the town. Once booked I will send you info on stuff to do, where to book etc depending on the season.

Who should come here?

If you want to kick back solo or together with your partner/friend – it doesn’t matter. Some people come here to get away from a stressed life, some people come here with a lot on their mind and walk in the forest for hours, some people come for the nothern lights in winter, some for the never ending days in summer, couples come here to whisper ”I love you” in ech other’s ears and wake up to the view on the lake. Some people are just passing through and wish they would have known and stayed longer. Some people come here to catch their first fish and jump directly into the lake after the sauna. There is something here for every body, but none of the houses have TV… you come here for nature, active life, peace of mind, romance, friendship, a good laugh and a night out on the pub. If you like simple things and never get tired of looking at the lake in front of you, then you will feel right at home.
